On behalf of the Organization for the development, renovation and equipping of schools in the Islamic Republic of Iran, all interested individuals and companies are invited to the International Conference on ‘School space provision, equipment, and technology’ for Iranian schools, to be held 05-07 March 2019 in Yazd, Iran. The aim of the conference is to contribute to a multidisciplinary, integrated planning approach by architects, engineers and scientists to improve the spatial quality of educational spaces. By fostering a lively exchange between the participants, this conference will shed light on the significance of green school design, with a view to putting scientific know-how into practice.   The event is being organised by the School of Art and Architecture of Yazd University, and Iranian experts. Experienced architects, professors and students are welcome to participate in the Conference and Exhibition by a presentation of their scientific works and designs.   Types of participation:   ·         Scientific manuscript: Presenting research papers ·         Designing: The design of the schoolspaces will be in accordance with the principles of contemporary educational spaces ·         Presentation of implemented Projects: Illustrations and posters concerning the development of educational spaces within the last five years. The conference will help build a research network that will extend across The Middle East and beyond.     Submission requirements:   1.      Exhibition: In the design section of the exhibition, documents should be organised as follows: ·         Each design should be provided on a maximum of 3 sheets of foam board with a dimension of 70 x 50 cm horizontally ·         Plans, views, sections, perspectives (internal and external), plan analysis and site plan are required to be submitted as photographs with dimensions of 40 × 30 on a sheet (foam board) with a DPI of at least 300 with its file     Participants should send DWG, PSD and/or JPG files to the electronic address of the conference secretariat using (E-mail:iac@dres.ir)     2.      Conference: It is imperative to meet scientific and academic standards in the writing of papers, including that each paper is: ·         Original and the author’s own personal work ·         That the author holds both copyright and exploitation rights ·         Submission of papers must be accompanied by the user’s code and the title of the article ·         To download the format of the abstract and full paper, please follow the below link.
